Tomorrow, we leave for Italy.
Atleast we know where our hotel is. That is a definite plus. My Dad still won't relent on the money belt. Rob doesn't think one is necessary and my dad keeps trying to convince me. I'm not the one who needs convincing--I could go either way. Oh well. I'm sure it will be fine and my Dad booked the reservations for Naples and Italy, and they both sound like very nice hotels. I just can't wait to go.
I have to work today. I don't want to work today. In the interest of limiting my redundancy, I will just say that my job annoys me and I do not want to go into work today.
I just went to greet the mailman, as I saw him coming up to our box. Something was sent to us on the 19th. He just stood there, listening to his walkie talkie, doing nothing. Then, he slowly sifted through the mail saying that we didn't get anything. Damned yokels.
Rob and I are talking about moving to Evanston when we move back to Chicago. I think that would be a very good plan. I like Chicago but when I'm in the thick of it, it kind of drives me crazy. But Rob wants to be close to the el so he doesn't have to drive. Evanston is practically in the city, but is a bit more laid back. It has cool record stores and used bookstores. Of course this is all contingent on finding a place in a good location, but it's something to look into.
I can't believe it's still only June. It seems time in Kalamazoo runs in slow motion...
